Waiguru denies connection to Corruption

Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru faced members from the National Assembly's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) taking after mounting worries over money related mistake in her docket and disclosed she was not to blame.

Ms Waiguru blamed others and demanded that what was going on in her docket – the misappropriation of public funds and corruption – was not "one of a kind" in light of the fact that even Chief Justice Willy Mutunga had griped of debasement in the Judiciary, while National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale had requested that President Uhuru Kenyatta proclaim debasement a national fiasco.

Waiguru said the unforgiving focus on her service that had conveyed to light instances of abuse of open assets was on the grounds that the service was straightforward and had opened up to open investigation, rather than picking the advantageous way to conceal the skeletons.
The CS said on money related matters in her service, the buck ceased with her two primary secretaries Peter Mangiti (Planning) and Mwanamaka Mabruki (Devolution), and if the issues must be heightened, then it would be dependent upon National Treasury CS Henry Rotich, on the grounds that he was the person who selects the accounting officers in all Government offices, not her.
