Senator Otieno Kajwang' bites the dust following a heart attack

Kajwang', a vocal ODM pioneer and close comrade of oposition boss Raila Odinga passed on at the Mater Clinic in Nairobi where he had been surged for crisis treatment in the wake of misery an acute cardiac arrest on Tuesday night.

"It is extremely lamentable," a nearby relative said, "we have lost him."

Fellow senators  and relatives who identifies with Capital FM News at the hospital said he died of what was described as a ‘massive cardiac arrest’. said he kicked the bucket of what was portrayed as an issue 'heart failure'.

There was no quick explanation from the healing facility.

His sibling Tom Kajwang' who is the Ruaraka MP said he was taken to the healing facility at around 9pm in the wake of griping of midsection aches while at home, and was pronounced dead after two hours.

The expired had served as Immigration Minister in previous President Mwai Kibaki's coalition government.

Senate Dominant part Pioneer Kithure Kindiki said he was "stunned to discover that Kajwang' is dead" having having spoken to him at 4pm on Tuesday.

"We have lost a decent debater, extraordinary Representative and legal counselor," he said of Kajwang' whom he depicted as an issue "to both sides of government and the Opposition."

Individual Representative Omar Hassan of Mombasa sent sympathies to Kajwang's family saying he had lost an "extraordinary companion."

Elgeyo Marakwet Representative Kipchumba Murkomen said he will recall the late as an issue "and articulate debater who was brimming with life and amusingness."

A few government authorities, including State House Executive of Advanced Media Dennis Itumbi were at the hospital to mourn with the family and relatives.

The family was taking a shot at arrangements to move the body to the Lee Burial service Home.
