Poisonous Sugar Mastermind Arrested!

 The alleged mastermind in the "poisonous sugar" was arrested on Saturday night. Christopher Waithaka was arrested at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after landing from Dubai. He  was taken to Kamukunji police station where he will be apprehended on Monday. Although he had a court order barring his arrest from Mombasa  law courts.

The sugar is said to have been distributed to several estates mostly Kawangware, Kitengela, Eastleigh and Mombasa.

The contraband sugar was to be turned into ethanol under supervision of Kenya Bureau of Standards.
